Kid Scoop Media nurtures curiosity in  children while simultaneously allowing parent and child to make forever memories. I suddenly  lost my mom when I was 5 years old. I only have about 6 memories I replay with her in my mind so that I never forget who she was in motion and not just in photographs. I wanted to create an organization that not only empowers kids but also teaches them to DREAM BIG!!!!   And I am happy to report we have been extremely successful.

Since the early days when the idea was first conceived, we got all the way to the White House during the Obama years...and still continue to cover it today.  We also cover the Pentagon, NASA launches, local mayoral events with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, film premieres, celebrity interviews, Broadway shows and the list goes on.  We also organize local city council and school board election forums where the candidates running for office answer questions strictly from 8-17 year olds. It's a one of a kind forum. In the years since we began, it has become the #1 forum to watch during our Culver City elections. 

For the past years I have produced this alone, raising money from local businesses that will allow me to keep the vision and not comprise the integrity of the work.  But now it is time to take my work to the next level.. to make it accessible to everyone...We need to raise money to help Kid Scoop Media become a non-profit.  We also need to create a sizzle reel that will help better position ourselves to attract donors and also  show potential investors the value of who we are, what we do and why we are important. We are not just giving kids the opportunities to be journalists for the day...We are making memories for them and the one parent who accompanies them on these larger the life experiences.   We ask for your help to keep going and growing.

I am asking for $4900 to help me hire a professional editor to create a sizzle reel to showcase who we are.
I need to pay legal and filing fees to get the non profit status we desperately need to begin receiving larger donations.   
I need the funds as soon as possible to being editing our reel and filing the 501 c3 paperwork.   We really have so many events I would like the Kid Scoopers to cover and the mid term elections are coming up and we really want to get as many children as we can engaged. We want to pre-register 16 years so that by the 2020 presidential election they will be registered 18 year olds.

We want this opportunity to exist not just for the children of the United States but for the children of the world....And as a result, I am asking for help from our global community to bring this vision  into fruition.
