Funds for ward 304 at derby royal 2024

Hi everyone I have decided to take part in sober October again and today marks my 5th day the money again I plan to take to derby royal liver ward where my mum was treated for illness on multiple occasions.

I made the decision to complete another sober month last year after successfully raising so much and always planned to add to the total made last year.

Unfortunately I wasn’t aware that go fund me t&c’s refund where funds haven’t been withdrawn for 12 months so some of you fantastic people that donated last year may have noticed that you had a refund at some point over the last week or so of what you donated last year and if possible would like to ask if you redonate this to my cause this year where I can hopefully raise some much needed funds for the ward. I have donated back money that was paid to me in cash last year that I put into the go fund me which has given me a little kick start this year.Hi my name is Tom Gregory and I am doing sober October to raise money for ward 304 in the derby royal hospital (liver ward).

The reason I am raising the money for the ward is because unfortunately we lost my mum (Kerrie Gregory) to liver failure on January 18th 2021 after fighting with alcoholism. Ward 304 looked after my mum over the years and without their help and dedication we would have lost my mum a lot sooner because they managed to help her stop drinking and become clean for 2 years but unfortunately the addiction took hold of her again .
