Funds for the Viagran Family

Donation protected
Team & Family we are asking for donations for the Viagran family after the sudden loss of an incredible member of our Team & Family: Aaron Viagran, our Director of Non-Instructional Compensation. Aaron passed away this past weekend while taking care of the garden of his new home in his “paradise,” as his wife shared.

Aaron was one of the first hires I made at IDEA, and I was lucky to work closely with Aaron for almost my entire IDEA career to date. Aaron was one of the kindest, most humble, and most learning-oriented people I have ever met, often giving credit to anyone and everyone around him. He developed strong relationships with the people he managed, his peers, and his “customers,” who made up all of our leaders and staff here at IDEA, despite often having tough conversations and having to say “no” more than he wanted to given the content of our work. After a long career in compensation with multiple organizations, including HEB and a stint managing his father’s small business, Aaron was drawn to our mission and our values as he looked for his next opportunity. Since joining us, he has been loyal, steadfast, and an exemplar of our core values, no matter the new challenge.
