Funds for the Floofs

She is home from her forelimb amputation surgery and I am amazed by her! She is doing so well without the front leg!

I am selling some handmade items to help with the $2k I still have left to pay, and of course we are extremely grateful for any donations on this platform!

After a week at the vet, we got some options for the front leg. The hyperextension isn't healing. So we could ...

1. $5k fusion with low success rate... NOPE

2. Brace for the rest of her life. And other surgeries throughout her life.

3. Amputation

I have spoken with other vets and animal PT and prayed about it and, unfortunately, it seems like the least painful option for Floofy is Amputation. The Amputation is scheduled for Wednesday. I am continuing this fundraiser to cover the cost of the Amputation surgery and any PT that will need to happen after the surgery. Thank you so much !

Floofy will be having surgery on Wednesday the 17th! I found an ortho vet in Cary that quoted me $3500 for the back leg FHO

My name is Lynn and I am a long-time bartender at Shooters II in Durham NC.

My sweet "Floofy" girl jumped out of the window Wednesday night, fractured her front leg and broke her back leg. I spent $1300 at the emergency vet, but the surgery will be around $5k. She is just 5 months old :(

Those of you who know me, know that it is so hard for me to ask for help but we really need help!
