Funds for Precious the Hero Dog!

$16,740 of $12,000 goal

Raised by 212 people in 7 months
Created January 15, 2019
Precious the Hero Dog needs our help!     Precious saved her family from a devastating house fire earlier this month.   She was injured last week on debris from the house trying to get to a kitten that was crying under the debris.    She's a "double-hero dog"!!!       There are accumulating vet bills at both Northwood Vet & Port City Vet in Portsmouth.

With Donna's persmission, I've setup this GoFundMe to help pool together funds that Donna can distribute to the vet offices.      Anything over will be donated to animal hospitals.

THANK YOU to everyone for donating, sharing and helping out Tom, Donna & Precious!!     xo

Donna posted this on the FB page today!

Update: my beloved precious is doing great! I got to see the wound yesterday and it is coming along fantastically! That poor little thing doesn’t even realize she’s hurt. She would love nothing more than to get loose and go for a run. Vet says about two more months of laser therapy twice a week. We are looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you to all who have followed my page. This is just a slow process so it’s hard for me to update every day. When we are better I promise I’ll be sending some amazing pictures.

Donna made an update on the FB page today:

Good morning everybody. Update on precious: The doctors say that her progress is coming along well. They say the tissues are doing what it needs to do. They do not believe anymore will day and that they will have to do any more clipping which is a great thing. At this point until we get into Boston on the 28th she is just being maintained daily. She is obviously on antibiotics for infection. They’ve change the type of bandaging so hopefully she won’t have to be sedated anymore during that process. She is eating very well taking her meds orally. They tell me that her days and nights are boring. Which in the medical field is a good thing. I can’t wait to be able to post pictures of her progress and let everybody see how she’s coming along. Right now it’s just a waiting game. Thank you for taking the time to read about her she’s a wonderful beautiful little girl.
