Another update from Oct 19/25

Brad still has not been back to work yet in 5 years since he was told he needed open heart surgery then had to have a second due to all the delays and the heart getting worse.

He recently had a change in one of his multiple daily medication due to huge shortage of it, which sadly is more costly then the other ones.

I keep posting and sharing and hope that others can help out with some food, money or gift cards given to him to pay bills, buy groceries and get strong and healthier so he can get back to work.

Funds on here are deducted from the small "assistance" that he gets as it is classed as income, though I call it trying to stay alive.

Anything helps, whether this is shared every week so people see it and assist or if you are able to assist even better.

He does have a few doctors appointments over the next 4 weeks to see where he is at for recovery seeing he is almost at 1 year from his 2nd open heart surgery.

One day the universe will assist in a huge way and he can be stronger, healthier, financially secure and then back on track.

Submitting another update.

Brad has had a lot of follow-ups with a few of his doctors over the past couple months and he is slowly getting better, though as they keep saying, it takes longer as his body is trying to heal from two open heart surgeries within less than 19 months and lots of scar tissue too.

His employer still wants him back but he still has to get stronger, healthier and more fit (stamina) to get back work.

He still has bills that are non stop (like everyone else) still has to buy huge amounts of daily medication (which will be for his lifetime) and if money left then he buys food and supplies till his next assistance pay.

Please keep sharing and sending him gift cards for groceries or supplies so he can get better and back to work.

A 6 month update from the 2nd open heart surgery in 19 months.

Brad will be having follow up doctors appointments in July to check the heart with an Echo test and hopefully the chest X ray as well and then after those are done then a follow up with the cardiologist.

He still is not back at work (it has been 5 years now) and hopefully he can be back before the end of the year and be able to have proper income again.

I am trying to raise funds for his recovery so he can pay bills, buy medication and buy food due to not having an income and very limited funds with disability assistance.

PLEASE, any donation will be greatly appreciated especially gift cards for Save on Foods, M&M foods, Pharmasave, Original Joes or even Subway as they are walking distance for him ( those can be mailed if you know the address, if not you can ask) so he can buy groceries and if you are able to donate to the GoFundMe, then he can pay for all the medication that he will be on for life, purchase food from other stores and pay all the bills that do not stop when you have no income.

(Back story)

Brad had been waiting for heart surgery for 2.5 years and the same amount of time waiting to get approved for any type of disability from the government as he has been told by the heart surgeons and his doctors that he is not able to work (also he has no strength or energy to work due to having a faulty heart).

He was working but had no benefits with his job.

The picture is when he was working and it would be nice to see him back at the arena one day with his work family and interacting with everyone there.

I help him as much as I can each pay cheque but it is not enough, that is why I have started this GOFUNDME in hopes that people will help so that he does not end up on the street and after heart surgery.

Thank you to those who have donated previously (a few have donated many times which is so greatly appreciated), these all helped a lot, though more is needed till he can get back to work.
