Fund for Phoenix’s Funeral and Loved Ones

On Friday (5/26/23) an amazing person left this world. For many she was known as Phoenix. She had spent much of her life doing anything and everything possible to support her family and community. She was trained as an EMT and in mental health. Nearly every night a crowd was out protesting, she was out to make sure people were as safe as possible and received care that they needed - whether it was a physical wound or emotional wound.

She often would stop whatever she was doing and rush to help anyone who needed anything. She made regular house visits to follow up with people who were healing.

She has saved so many lives by the medical care she provided and the emotional and mental support she gave.

She was beaten by Kops during protests trying to protect others who were injured. She fought fiercely in every way possible.

She is dearly missed. She leaves behind a daughter, teen child, a loving partner, who all need our help to meet their basic living expenses while they take a short time to process and begin healing from this immense loss. They also need our help in covering the funeral costs.
