"For those who know me, knows my cousin Gary has always been like a brother to me. He's lived with me n my sons for years n has always been there for us n my mom."
It isn’t easy coming to a place of asking for financial help from anyone, let alone from people we haven't seen or heard from, and some we do not know personally. However, we are definitely in an unfortunate time where my cousin Gary could really use all the prayers and financial help he can get. Sadly, he’s been diagnosed with “Oropharyngeal Cancer” (head, neck & throat). Although his cancer is a stage 4, it is "treatable" by surgery, chemo n radiation. As anyone who’s dealt with the care and cost of a cancer patient, knows it’s heavy on the heart, the mind and incredibly expensive to treat. There’s no way for anyone to ever prepare mentally, emotionally or financially for such a tragedy like this. Thankfully, my cousin Gary has health insurance, however, the out-of-pocket expenses are significant. There’s nothing worse than having a life-threatening cancer/disease and not having the best healthcare coverage or finances to pay for the astronomical costs of the treatments…and with hopes of living and extending your Life. My cousin is a Pastor and has been serving the Lord, counseling and teaching for over 30 years. He has devoted his Life to serving God, and has led and helped many. We pray that we come together with a selfless, compassionate heart and support him during this very difficult trial he is facing. We really appreciate any and all donations you’re able to provide….any amount would be a blessing to him. My cousin Gary n family appreciate it from the bottom of out hearts.
