Funds for Our Frontline Hero - Necitas Galura

After almost a month long battle with COVID-19, our frontline hero, Necitas Galura or "Tita Nescy" has unexpectedly passed away on Friday, April 30, 2020 at the age of 61.
Those who knew her or had any encounter with her, knew that she was a loving, caring, and a selfless person. She always put everyone, especially her family, before herself.
She leaves behind, her loving husband, two sons, two grandchildren, and many close relatives and friends. As Tita Nescy resided in New York, she was accompanied with one of her sons, while the remainder of her family are based in the Philippines. Tita Nescy was a wonderful and thoughtful woman, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and most importantly an amazing and resilient nurse.
She was a dedicated nurse and had a huge passion for helping and comforting her patients. She did not consider being a nurse a profession, but instead it was her passion. Tita Nescy has become my inspiration and motivation, to be the best nurse possible and to possess the qualities that she had.
The pain of losing a loved one always leaves a void and the feeling emptiness in your heart and extreme sadness, but the memories and happy times will last forever. We have lost our hero, but gained an angel.
