Funds for Oghie Following Pepper Spray Attack

As many of you have likely heard already, our dear friend and beloved barback Oghie was assaulted while working behind the bar at C'mon Everybody this past Saturday, January 28th. A customer at the bar was caught stealing liquor and upon being asked to leave became belligerent, began hurling racial slurs at Oghie and ultimately reached over the bar with mace in hand, spraying Oghie directly in the eyes before running away. While Oghie has physically recovered from this disgusting attack that can only be described as a hate crime, and steps are being taken to identify this man and find justice, Oghie has decided that the best thing for his mental health is to step away from working in night life. We're trying to raise some funds to help him transition between jobs, and give him the time and space to rest, recover, and follow his many creative pursuits. Oghie is one of the kindest, most caring and talented people we've ever had the pleasure of working with - please consider giving if you can so that this wonderful man can go on to live his best life!
