Once again hardships have struck my family which has caused me to reach out to others, for their compassion and love for another human... As of September of 2020 we were informed the cause of my fathers lethargic mood swollen feet and coughing up blood were due to having a mass in the lung & throat which was diagnosed as Stage 4 Sarcoma (Lung Cancer) which has spread to other parts of the body. We created a rigorous treatment plan with the community "teaching" hospital  due to my father NOT having health Insurance. They were able to carterize some of the masses in the throat and stop the coughing up blood. They also started one round of IV Chemo, we believe this to be the cause of the septic shock. While at home after the first procedure my father collapsed at home and is rushed back to same community hospital where he was intubated and we were informed that his right lung that had the mass was now collapsed & there was a mass in the upper lobe of left lung. This put an urgency to the 21 day treatment plan in an attempt to shrink the mass enough for surgical removal. At current we have undergone 5 days of external radiation but this a come with some other health issues resulting in loss of vocal cord & swallowing ability preventing the ability to eat/drink with out the high probability of choking. This has cause cardiac arrhythmia where there is fear of more clots causing worse damage. The goal is for Home health care cost and possibility of assistance with treatments As due to COVID-19 he has lost his income and was forced to live with unemployment but this weekly amount puts him over the eligibility level for SSDI disability by $50. Thus also preventing the chance to start waiting period for medicare we hope to start when he turns 65 in Dec of 2021 this has put a huge strain on the family and we reachout to ask for any help you maybe able to provide in this time of need.
