My dear friend Marcus and I met three years ago. We started working at Cape Rey Carlbsad, a Hilton Resort just weeks apart from each other. My partner in crime, learning the ropes at the new job together.
Anyone who knows Marcus, knows that he is a true gentleman. He is probably the most genuine kindhearted person I have met to date. A young husband and father who puts his wife and daughter first in every thought. He is always so encouraging to others in day to day life.
In January, 2018 he was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and this year has been a whirlwind of pain for him and his lovely family. In June Marcus took a turn for the worse where he started to experience enhanced symptoms of this awful disease.
Over the past several weeks he has been in and out of the hospital while his medical team fights to find the proper treatment and drugs to treat this disease. Over the past two months, Marcus has not been able to work and he and his family have suffered a financial hardship. Not only has Marcus not been able to work, he continues to fight intense fevers which limits his capacity each day.
Our goal is to seek donations for him and his family to provide some relief of some of the financial hardships he has encountered to date with the hope and expectation he is back on his feet soon, but sadly there is no guarantee.
Any little contribution will go a long way.
Thank you for your thoughts!
