Help fund Lucille's Care and Comfort

Hi, my name is Jasmine Beckingham, and most of you that know Lucille, know me. I am her niece, but so much more, we have always been so very close. She has always been there for me through anything and now it’s my turn. She has faced and overcome so many big hurdles in life, and yet always lead life as the brave, smart, funny, kind and sarcastic woman we all love so much!

It breaks my heart but, I have some very sad news to share about this amazing lady and she needs your help!

As you all know she has been battling stage 4 ovarian cancer for about 8 years. Unfortunately, we found out recently she is beginning to lose her battle with cancer and on average has about 6 months left. I am her health proxy and now that she is at this stage I need to make sure she is both as safe and as happy as possible, for the remainder of her life.

Lucille, along with her sister Jennifer, who is her full time caregiver, will be moving a couple minutes away. I will be able to assist daily with Lucille’s care and help to get her out to enjoy things while she can. This is all going to be very difficult emotional and financially on our family. Any help you can give is truly very appreciated.

I am trying to raise enough funds to aid in moving expenses, monthly payments and additional home care we need to help her enjoy the time she has left around those she loves most. Thank you for your help!

Update: Lucille is all set up in her new home and starting to get used to her new location. It’s a bit of an adjustment for both Jennifer and Lucille but we have a great family team working together to get them comfortable and help with Lucille’s care. She is a spit fire constantly wanting to be on the go, go places and do things…the rest of us are doing are best to keep up, lol!

She is very excited to unpack all her holiday items and make it festive. She is very much looking forward to entertaining friends and family in her new home. If you want to visit there is a guest room that is open to use or numerous hotels near by if the drive is too much!
