Funds for Liam's funeral

Liam Ryan Gonzales born to Christopher and Jackie Gonzales on  May 5th, 2020. Liam passed away on  May 8th, 2020.

 

Liam was prayed for, greatly anticipated  and loved by his parents Christopher and Jackie Gonzales. Also, by his grandparents Manuel and Cecilia Aguilar, Lorie Clinton (Jason Hawks) and Steve Gonzales (Jamie Baker), his Great grandparents Don and Dolores Clinton, Tommy and Patty Gonzales and Guadalupe Zamora.
He is the third great great grandchild of Audrey Bradford. Liam is loved by so many aunts uncles, cousins and extended family as well as many friends and his church families.

 

My name is Jenifer Alcorn. Lorie and I went to high school and played sports together. We learned country values from our upbringing, families, and community. Lorie and I share something else in common. We have children. Our children mean more than the air we breathe. One of the greatest gifts that our children return to us as they grow up is the gift of new life- a grandbaby.

The joy and anticipation of your children becoming parents is indescribable. It’s so exciting to hold a baby shower and buy things for their baby that you couldn’t afford when you had yours. Then the anticipation of what the baby will look like. You vow to spoil them rotten and then send them home when you’re done.

No one could prepare a parent to say goodbye to their baby before they were truly able to say hello. Baby Liam’s pregnancy was “textbook.” Last Tuesday something went terribly wrong. Baby Liam was born with no brain activity and passed away on Friday Morning. We know he was able to feel the love of his mother, father and family during pregnancy and the few days he was with them through their loving energy and touch.

The pain and confusion of Baby Liam’s passing is more than any family should have to bear. As a grandmother, the feeling of helplessness is paramount. I experienced a very similar experience last year when my granddaughter was born with severe microcephaly. It was that experience that caused the Clinton family to reach out to me to help organize this fundraiser.

The last thing a family that loses a child should have to incur is medical and funeral expenses. That is why I am asking family and friends to help this family through this very difficult time by easing this burden through a donation. It is time to be a community.

Rest in Peace Baby Liam- Heaven has received it’s newest Angel.
