On December 23, my fiancé was on his way home from work when the vehicle he was riding in was pulled over due to tinted windows. He was a passenger, but all occupants were questioned. During this interaction, my fiancé gave a false name and was taken into custody. As a result, he is now facing deportation to Mexico.

My fiancé has lived in the United States his entire life. This is the only home he has ever known. He has no family, no support system, and no life established in Mexico. Here in the U.S., he has everything—his family, his community, and most importantly, his children.

We share two children together, and our entire family lives here in the United States. The thought of our family being separated is devastating, especially knowing how deeply involved and loving he is as a father and partner.

We are currently working with an immigration attorney to fight this deportation and keep our family together. Unfortunately, the legal process is expensive and time-sensitive. We are asking for help to raise funds to cover attorney fees and related costs so we can give our family the best chance to stay together.
