Update (11/1/2020): Most of Joe's bladder wall was removed. His entire bladder will be extracted and substituted for with part of his intestine. He writes on 10/29/2020 "I went for CT scans today searching for upstream involvements in urethra, muscle tissue, and nearby organs – any of which could spell doom. It will take a few more days to find out about those results. I'm to meet with a new surgeon and oncology team at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston on 19 November and a second surgery is expected shortly thereafter. When all is said and done, at least my heart should still be in the right place." Please give what you can. Thanks for your generosity.
Update: This week, Joe was diagnosed with bladder cancer with many tumors and will need to undergo surgery and chemo. He is still without housing and was asked to remove his possessions from his apartment. Please give what you can. Thank you all for your generosity.
There was a fire in the apartment building of Joe Davis, brilliant art-scientist and grandfather of bio-art. The damage was severe, and he is not currently able to occupy his apartment. He is without housing. Please donate what you can so he can continue his incredible work in quarantine. The future of humanity needs Joe! Thanks!
