Hi everyone. Jax needed an emergency surgery for an obstruction in his intestines and his stomach. He started getting sick Monday, throwing up multiple times and blood. We took him to urgent care for X-rays and medicine that night. He went very downhill overnight, lethargic, more blood, hiding and whimpering from pain, not eating, excessive drooling and nauseous. The next day, we took him to our vet for more xrays and tests. The doctor said they needed to do emergency surgery right away, as he had obstructions in his stomach and intestines from a rubber toy he ate. The doctors pulled out a large chunk from his intestines, and drained half a liter of fluid from his stomach. Everyone who knows us knows we love Jax and would do anything for him. Unfortunately there was no other solution besides surgery, because he would not be able to pass the objects himself and would have resulted in him passing away. He has spent time at the emergency hospital for recovery and monitoring per the vets protocol. He’s is now back at home recovering, after an additional trip back to the ER due to a complication from the surgery. We thank you for any donation made to help us with the large cost of these vet bills. Your donation will go towards helping us with medical vet bills. God bless.
