Funds for Immigrants

This is a campaign to raise funds for two immigrants under the threat of deportation under Trump Era immigration policies. These funds will go directly to these individuals who are at a high risk of deportation and will be used to specifically fund legal representation in hearings and appeals. 

At the moment we are raising funds for two individuals who were illegally searched leading to their jailing and are slated to appear in court within the week. Both individuals have been contributing members of their respective communities and are known to many as friends and family. Their identities in this campaign have been withheld for their protection. 

We need funds ASAP to secure lawyers well versed in criminal court proceedings as well as immigration, with specializations in asylum and deportation proceedings. 

CJ Healy, a good friend of the two detainees, is handling the funds that are raised here. All the money is going to costs related to the detention and legal proceedings, including commissary & phone calls, attorney fees, bond payments, etc.
