On December 30, 2019 my Mom, known to many as Winnie or GrandMa Clark released herself from the bonds of illness, pain and suffering and went home to fly free! Mom was a survivor, the best provider to me and my two brothers and of Dad, she could cook, sew, bake, iron, clean (sometimes simultaneously) and always had time to play a game or two with us at night. Later she became the best GrandMa to my own kids as well as my brothers kids. Again providing for them, babysitting, walking them home from school, playing school with them and spoiling them to the fullest! Next, she became the amazing, almost invincible Great-GrandMa (aka-'Big GrandMa') to the Fab-5 and her other greats. She held them, spoiled them, taught them and mostly loved them! She lived a long, full life with unconditional love for everyone she meant. Even in her last moments she was looking out for me and waiting to exit as I stepped out for a minute. Thank you Mom for all the lessons, the love, the laughs (and boy did we laugh), the wisdom, your whimsical sayings (known to many as 'GrandMa-isms') and mostly just for being you.
We would love to hold a BIG GrandMa celebration of life after her cremation and celebrate the woman she was with ALL of you! Please consider donating any amount to help us achieve this goal. Thank you all in advance and Thank You Mom/GrandMa/Big GrandMa/Winnie. We Love You! Fly Free!
