Funds for George Patrick's family
Donation protected
"A construction worker died after being hit by a truck early Thursday along a deadly stretch of Interstate 95 near Fellsmere, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
George E. Patrick, 46, of Port St. Lucie, sustained critical injuries and was taken to Sebastian River Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
At the time of the crash, a cement truck was traveling north at 5:12 a.m. on I-95 on the exit ramp for Fellsmere Road. Patrick, who was working on the ramp, was trying to move a traffic sign from the west shoulder to the east shoulder when he was struck by the right front of the truck, the release states." -TCPalm 1/19/17
George leaves behind his loving wife Claudette, and 7 precious Children, Zaliyah (10), Tamia (13), Raven (15), Elisha (19), Shayna (24), Jasmine (24), and Andrew (26).
George was a light to everyone he encountered. He loved his family, and they loved him so much! This is a huge loss to everyone who knew him, and to the community and industry he worked in. He was a hard, dedicated worker.
We don't want this loss to be a financial burden to his family, so we want to raise money to help them get by during this unimaginably difficult time. The company he worked for will match the funds raised by us in the next 5 days.
PLEASE consider giving a monetary donation to this family even if you're a stranger. $1, $5, every bit helps!
Also, please be in prayer for strength and comfort in their lives. God can use this traggic event for His greater purpose, so please pray that they find hope in that.
I believe George is in the precense of Jesus. George's light on this earth was a glimps of the light in heaven.
Thank you for your donations!
