Last week Ronli was playing catch with Fonzie in the park and he slipped and began to limp. Over the course of a few hours he gradually lost the use of the back end of his body. After a trip to the ER, Ronli learned that sweet Fonz had slipped a disc and was rapidly becoming paralyzed. He was rushed into surgery but the prognosis was not great: he may never be able to walk or go to the bathroom on his own again and his long term outlook would not be known until after weeks of recovery.
The great news is that Fonzie's surgery went well and he has been home for a week and we are happy to report that he is showing signs of recovery in his tail and back legs. We have every hope that he is on a road to full recovery thanks to the great care he is receiving from Ronli.
For anyone who has ever cared for an ailing pet or family member, you are aware of the physical, mental, and emotional strain it can put on you. With unexpected surgeries like this, there is also a significant financial burden. Let's do what we can to help alleviate that burden for Ronli. Every cent that is donated here will go directly to Fonzie's medical bills.
Every little bit counts. Thank you so much for your help!
