Funds for Family of Outdoorsman Damian Pagano

Donation protected

We lost an amazing husband, father, son, friend and outdoorsman, Damian Pagano, on July 20, 2021. He suffered a heart attack, alone, as he was moving his family's chickens and final items in the midst of their move from the Salmon, ID, area to the Butte, MT area. His sudden death occurred the eve before he and his wife, Marisa, were to travel to Park City, UT, to compete and attempt to reclaim their RMEF World Elk Calling titles on July 21-23. Damian was just 36 years old.

Epically capable and brave, Marisa, is left to care for their two beautiful girls, Ryiah (7) and Kenley (6). You can help her by donating to this account. It is established to support Marisa as she pays for Damian’s funeral expenses and to start education savings accounts for their two girls. We can't bring their daddy back, but we can contribute to their future.

Damian and Marisa’s passion for the outdoors and hunting is well known. They were an amazing team. Among their many trophy game animals, they made history and received national acclaim after Damian won the 2017 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation World Elk Calling Championship Men’s Division and when Marisa took the Women’s Division title in 2018 and 2019. Their fledging business, Liberty Game Calls, has just started to take off as they are an amazing couple with a passion for the outdoors. It was their dream to grow the business to be one of the top in the industry. When you're missing Damian, you can see him on YouTube videos showing off his elk calling skills. Consider how you can support Marisa though your next hunting gear purchase. See: Liberty Game Calls #libertygamecalls

We call on all those who love the Pagano Family and their story to donate—especially those in the outdoors/hunting community. Your help will allow Marisa to manage funeral expenses and establish a solid future for her little girls. Every dollar counts. Thank you for your support.

This fund is created by Marisa’s long-time friends who grew up with her in Wallowa County, Oregon. Damian grew up in Oregon City, and later moved to Elgin, Oregon. He and Marisa married in 2012.

All contributions up to the $30,000 goal will be divided three equal ways among 1) funeral expenses, 2) a college fund for Ryiah, and 3) a college fund for Kenley. Any contributions over the goal amount will be at Marisa's discretion to best help her family. If you have questions about the specifics of these funds, please don't hesitate to ask.

We will update this page with memorial info and updates on the progress of this fund. We love you and miss you, Damian. ♡
