On behalf of my niece Amberlee, and my sister Hazel Walters we announce the untimely passing of my nephew Eric Shane. Husband, son, nephew and the title of his life that made him so proud and so happy, dad.
We are raising funds for his upcoming service and travel expenses for family to travel to Mtn Village to lay him to rest next to his loved ones. A life long resident of Mtn Village, the community he loved and served just like his uppa. We have no words at this time but ask for continued prayers and love to his beautiful beautiful family.
You never know when your last moments are with your loved ones make sure you tell them daily how much you love them. Eric told his loved ones daily how much he loved us. He made sure that the last words spoken to each other were how much we meant to each other and how much love we had for each other. He was a great provider to his family and his community. Please think of my Eric Shane when you fish the Yukon River, go riding at clear water, look for birds by gweegown, savoring our native foods, namely frozen fish, when you shoot a basketball, when your filling up your gas tanks or participating in a Turkey shoot. When you call moose while hunting or manaqing for pike at Kuzi, please take a moment to think of my boy that should of grown into a old man telling stories to his kids and loving on his wife until it bugged her. Thank you for all your support and if you were blessed to know our boy Eric Shane and called him a friend, thank you. Thank you for loving a beautiful soul.
We love and appreciate all the support.
The Walters, Tomaganuk and Kowchee family
