Funds for Curtis's Funeral and Burial

Hello, my name is Reneka Shepard Williams, I’m organizing a fundraiser on behalf of Curtis Lavalais, Jr.

Curtis was fatally struck in a Hit and Run, on Hwy 107 near Hwy 1191, early Friday, May 31, 2024. Louisiana State Police is investigating.

Curtis, 45, was walking in the southbound lane, when a vehicle hit him, and left the scene. Authorities are searching for the driver, and vehicle involved.

Curtis, whom has been like a brother to me for over 35 years, died at the scene.

Unfortunately, Curtis did not have a life insurance policy.

I’m needing to raise the money, so he can have a proper funeral, and burial.

The amount of the fundraiser will cover his casket, a two hour viewing, a one hour service for his funeral, and a plot at the church, where his adopted parents are buried.
