Catie's Lymphoma Treatment

Catie Kmak is a 24 year old woman (and my best friend) who  currently working on getting her undergrad in exercise science so she can get a PhD in physical therapy.  Recently she began experiencing coughing and swelling, which was initially thought to be due to pneumonia. But after a week with no improvement it was discovered that Catie actually has a 10 cm mass in her chest, which officially has been diagnosed as lymphatic cancer.  

After receiving a biopsy and port for future chemo, the next step for Catie is to get a PET scan and a bone marrow biopsy before she begins chemotherapy.  We will keep you guys updated as we move forward. 

2020 has been troubling times for everyone, and it somehow just keeps getting worse. But our Catie here is such a young and bright individual, and we are doing everything in our power to get her back up and on her feet as quickly as possible. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will all be put towards her medical bills.

Catie here is my best friend, and I don't know anybody in the world who is stronger than she is. She possesses such ambition and courage in life, and the love she radiates is endless. Nobody deserves to go through this, but especially not her. There is no doubt that our girl will come out on top of this!
