Funds for Casper
The Dixon family has recently received the devastating news that their son Casper has a brain tumor.
Casper will be turning 3 this month and will be receiving chemotherapy treatments every Friday for the next 18 months. He will be treated as an "out patient" which means that he will be able to be at home but requires that the family make weekly visits to Vancouver Children's Hospital.
The family is still trying to process the information that they have just received. The road ahead of them is long and the journey will be challenging. The last thing any family in their situation should need to worry about is the financial implications of having a sick child. As family and friends of the Dixon family, I invite those willing and able to donate funds to help them navigate the journey ahead.
Please take care not to mention the existence of the GoFundMe page to the Dixon family as they are still processing the information and do not know that I have created this fundraiser for them.
