My name is Vanessa Gonzalez, I am the daughter of Billie Mccarter. For those who knew my mom knew she was the funniest, supportive, most caring person they ever met. In 2021, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in the lymph nodes. After numerous doctor visits, all the treatments, the sleepless nights, the cancer was found on her lungs and in her stomach. She was the placed on oxygen tanks due to the fact that she was having fluid build ups in her lungs. On November 13, she was admitted into the hospital with low oxygen levels, low blood pressure, pain, etc. Early morning on November 17 we received that call that she had passed away. All the prayers & wishes have been very much appreciated by me and the family. Thank you. We love you mom.
