On December 9^th, 2016, Bakari’s life came to a tragic end. On December 4^th, he was struck by a vehicle while biking home with a friend. The driver stopped and exited the vehicle, before taking a look at what they had done and fleeing the scene. As a result of severe brain trauma, Bakari died at St. Michael’s Hospital on Friday, December 9^th.

He was a talented singer and artist, who could bring a smile to anyone’s face. At the age of 21, his life was taken away too soon.

Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. All funds will be given to the family to help offset the costs of his funeral.
