Funds for Ana-Ruth after the tragic loss of her son, Simon

Simon Tate died tragically last week after a skiing accident in Taos Ski Valley. His mother is beyond devastated and is now in a serious state of grieving for her son, who was the light of her life.

Simon was an adaptive ski instructor at Taos Ski Valley and was loved by many of his peers, who describe him as a compassionate, creative young man with an incredible sense of wonderment and awe. Simon had a degree in soil science from New Mexico State University and taught middle schoolers and high schoolers about plants, soil, and agriculture.

Simon had also been working as a live-in caretaker for an elderly woman with dementia. He had a gentle soul and will be missed by many people he worked with.

Simon's mother, Ana-Ruth, will need financial help through this very raw and difficult time.
