Funds for a farewell to Will

I am a good friend of Will's sweetheart, Susan. I will be visiting her in a few days but frankly have no idea how to begin to help lessen her sense of loss and devastation. I imagine there are many of Will's friends and family out there, mourning in their own way, trying to get their heads and hearts around this personal tragedy.
What I can do is try to help with the practical matters arising from Will's sudden, unexpected death. There are funeral home expenses to be covered as well as the cost of a local celebration of his life. Although Susan works full-time as a translator, these sudden expenses are an additional burden and source of stress.
I am reaching out to those of you who know Susan and/or Will, asking if you would be willing to donate to help cover these costs. I know Susan will appreciate it. She has told me that she takes comfort from their dogs, Molly and Benny, and all the supportive messages on facebook etc.
