Hi, I’m Adam, a Year 13 student at St. Louis Grammar School, Ballymena, and I’ve been given the amazing opportunity to take part in the Friends of Romania trip in February 2026. This charity works directly with communities in Transylvania, to raise money to buy vital aid such as bread, water, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to those who need it most. I’ll be travelling with a team to help deliver these resources, visit schools, orphanages and care homes, and offer hands-on support throughout the week.

As part of this trip, I’ve been asked to raise money to buy these essential supplies before we travel to Transylvania. I’m really excited to take on this challenge and make a difference, but I need your help! I’ve been kindly tasked with raising £600, which will go directly towards purchasing the food and materials we’ll deliver – rather than collecting physical items.

Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me and will go a long way in helping us support the lives of those living in hardship.
