Brenda has worked at the Children’s House Child Care Society since 2014. She is someone you can count on and puts her heart and soul into everything she does at the centre for the children, their families and her co-educators. It is now time for us to support Brenda and her family.

On August 9th, 2022, Brenda’s husband Steve, was admitted into the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge. On August 26th Steve was flown to the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton where he received a liver transplant on September 11th. While the operation was a success, Steve is still intubated and recovering in the hospital and is facing many battles, including receiving a recent diagnosis of Wilson’s Disease, fighting an infection and pneumonia, his kidneys shutting down and is on dialysis. Steve is facing a long road to recovery and will have to remain in Edmonton for this process. Brenda, along with Steve's mom, has been travelling back and forth to Edmonton to be by Steve's side. We are asking for donations to help support Brenda with bill payments, life expenses, travel expenses, medical expenses, medication, etc., so she can be with Steve as much as possible during this time.
