Fundraising to support Tackling Minds

Formed in early 2020, Tackling Minds has quickly become established as a trusted provider of angling events within the UK and offers support to people from all walks of life that are struggling with a range of issues.

AS Blasting & Coatings Director, Stephen Border, came across Tackling Minds on social media and being into fishing himself, thought it was a great charity to get behind.

It also appealed to us as mental health problems are extremely common in the construction industry, however it is well known that people find it hard to talk about their struggles. We think the fact that Tackling Minds are not only encouraging conversations about how we are feeling, but actively hosting events and offering support to a wide range of people is brilliant.

We wanted to get involved and support the charity in their mission to help as many people as possible, which is why we are hosting a charity fishing event which you can find on the Tackling Minds website, under the ‘events’ page.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event, with donations of any size greatly appreciated.
