Hello! For those of you who don’t know us, our names are Moses and Jorgia, and we firstly would like to thank you for reading more into our fundraising efforts. We have been given the important responsibility of leading, mentoring, guiding and supporting the youth (aged 8+) of our local church in Townsville, Hosanna Living Waters, and the wider community who also like to join us in our meetings every weekend. We have such a deep love and compassion for our youth, as we see the many trials and struggles they all face in today’s society, and so we bring them together every weekend to encourage them in their faith, their walk with Jesus and in their personal lives. We are so blessed to see our youth group slowly growing, and we continue to share our program out there to as many as possible. Our youth services are a way for the young people to spend time with others in fellowship, enjoy a snack, have a laugh, pray, be welcomed to a loving and supportive environment, share their own love for the Jesus through encouragement and testimony, and ask any questions they may have on their hearts. We have come across many who love to come, however some don’t have the transport to have a reliable way here. Though those of us with access to a car work together to ensure transport is available to get them to our youth fellowships, it is a huge desire and vision of ours as leaders to purchase a second hand mini bus so that we can personally drive around to pick up/ drop off those who need transport to and from our youth services, as well as our church services on Sundays. It is our job to lead and support our youth and their families in any way we can, and that is why we are praying that our efforts can be reached to as many people as possible, to make our vision and passion a reality for our youth and our small church. In saying all this, we humbly ask for donations, no matter how small, to help support our cause. We are so grateful for any donations we can receive in supporting our ministry and group, and truly thank you in advance for your love and shared compassion that we too have for our young children of today. If you are not in a position to donate, we kindly ask that you pray for our fundraiser, for we know that all things are possible with God! We also ask that you please share this fundraiser to everyone you know, and ask that they too share it, to get our efforts out there - our raising of funds will be ongoing until enough funds are raised to purchase a second hand bus. We will be doing other little fundraisers in the near future to help support other means of funding for our youth for resources such as bibles, notebooks, youth shirts, activities, and other things as necessary.
