Fundraising to Save the Kids

We have been forced into a custody battle against the other side of our family. This is protected and quite private information. We cannot risk having this information fall into the wrong hands so please do not share this campaign on any social media.

In May we will be going to court to protect my sister's custody of her children. We have fought tirelessly to get these children and my sister the help and healing that they need. They have come so far and this feels like a massive setback.

We have been advised to quickly find a good lawyer, and now that we have one we believe we stand a chance at shutting this entire thing down with the first hearing. That is our hope at least.

This all takes a big chunk of money that we simply do not have. I trust the Lord that He will provide as He is so gracious and good. If it's on your heart to help us meet our goal of $5,000 to pay for the initial lawyer fee I would be extremely humbled and thankful. This would support the very thing that can save the children from going back into the jaws of their abusers.

The prospect of going to court and sitting in the same room as them while needing to remain composed is difficult. But we are trusting that it is the Lord that fights our battles. We have only to stand firm.
