Hi I’m Donna and this is about my son Tyler, my forever 10.

After a short period of illness Tyler was diagnosed with high risk stage 4 neuroblastoma, a very aggressive cancer with it also being present in his bone marrow. We knew we would have a long period of time mainly being an inpatient at hospital.

Things were going well until on night 13 of our hospital stay, Tyler became increasingly short of breath. With nothing they were doing working he was taken to intensive care. Unfortunately he wasn’t getting any better so they decided to take over his breathing. Sadly it was just too much for him and he sadly passed away before the intubation was completed.

We are hoping to raise money to put towards a headstone for Tyler. In addition to this we would like to donate to 2 charities that helped us during our stay and when Tyler passed. Millys Smiles and 4louis. Plus we aim to continually raise money for families of children with cancer, working with ward E39 at QMC Nottingham hopefully making some wishes come true.
