I am very grateful to everyone who has supported my fundraising to purchase an ambulance that will be used in a remote area of Zimbabwe called Mhondoro.The need was identified when a mother was ferried to hospital in an open truck with no dignity during labour.This is only one story (I witnessed) amongst many I was made aware of  in the area.The ambulance will help this cause to help women , children  and men in this community.
I am walking 14 miles on 11/06 /17 (St Albans Half Marathon)  to equip this ambulance with basic resuscitation and first aid equipment that the local healthcare professionals will be able to use.On the list of essentials , I have a defibrillator , suction machine, bandages, monitoring equipment.
The ambulance will be shipped as soon as its fully equipped ,latest departure date 30/06/2017.
