Hi, my name is Michelle McDaid.

This day last year, January 29th 2024 we got the unexpected news that my brother John had a brain tumour.

I have thought about this date coming up like so many other dates this past year which have been hard. I have decided for this one to do something in memory of John. Starting today until the 19th March which is Johns first anniversary I will be walking 5k each day, along with my Mum and my brother James. I’ll then be finishing the 7 weeks with a skydive, (in the process of convincing the other two to this part).

I will be fundraising along side this and any donations are kindly appreciated. The money raised will be donated to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. This is where John was cared for from the time of his diagnosis until he passed away.

Words can’t describe the loss felt since John has left us, he was one in a million, so I want to do this in honour of him, the best big brother ♥️
