FUND RAISING FOR A FAMILY MEMBER WHO NEEDS HEART SURGERY

Our family is raising funds for my brother in law, Julius Muthunga Mwangi who needs urgent open heart surgery for an aortic aneurysm. My brother in law who resides in Kenya has been healthy most of his life, working in construction and the sole breadwinner of his family.

Less than a month ago he started developing severe chest pains at night and dizziness. Diagnostic tests revealed he has aortic regurgitation and an aortic aneurysm in the ascending aorta. An angiogram was also done, but thankfully no blockages were found in the heart vessels. Presently he is on medications for maintenance as he waits to have open heart surgery.

While we as a family have raised some money, we still need your help to reach our goal of 15 to 20,000 dollars.  Without these funds, he will be put on a waiting list which may take a couple of years before his appointment. The cardiologist has advised  immediate intervention to save his life.
