In Loving Memory of Thelma Tembo

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Thelma Tembo, who left us on the 2nd of July 2025 at just 32 years old. Thelma was a vibrant, loving, and joyful soul—always smiling, always kind, and always full of life, even in the midst of unimaginable pain.

She moved to the UK from Zambia 2023 to join her husband and begin a new chapter in life. Full of hope and excitement, they looked forward to building a family together. Tragically, in October 2024, Thelma suffered the devastating loss of her pregnancy at six months. At the time, it was believed to be due to fibroids, but in February 2025, she received the heartbreaking diagnosis of stage 4 pelvic cancer (leiomyosarcoma).

Despite the pain and the aggressive nature of the illness, Thelma remained strong. She faced every day with courage, hope, and unwavering faith. She was determined to fight—not just for herself, but for her loved ones who surrounded her with care and support. Her resilience was inspiring; her smile never faded.

On July 2nd, surrounded by family and love, Thelma passed on peacefully.

We are now raising funds to honour her brave and beautiful spirit with a dignified and special send-off. Your contributions will go toward funeral and memorial costs, and any additional support will help the family during this incredibly difficult time.
