Hello, my name is Andreina Torres, and I'm raising funds to help my boyfriend David Tremont, who has been detained for more than three months. David is Venezuelan, is 35 years old, he has lived in the USA for 5 years, is the father of an 8-year-old child, and is responsible for his family in Venezuela. He is also my support here in this country. He worked for a large company for the Hispanic community as a sales representative for their products and food. He is a skilled individual with knowledge as an industrial engineer and is fluent in English. In October 2025, he went to his appointment with ICE like every year, when he was detained and transferred to Michigan. He has no prior convictions or crimes on his record, and yet the bonds he has requested has been denied. This entire process has been filled with expenses, both legal fees and the responsibilities of living in this country, and we both have taken care of the payments with our savings, but it is no longer enough to keep paying the rent, family expenses, loans, bills and and money we have borrowed to cover more expenses because we don't know when I might be released. I want to emphasize that while he has been in detention, he has had excellent behavior, he is a communicator between the officers and the detainees, and he has led a prayer group every night, sharing the word of God. Help the people who are arriving to understand the system and be able to communicate with their family members. This financial aid is to continue supporting the appeal process and not fall behind on payments and debts that we have; we are alone in this country and do not have the help of any family members. And that way, when he leaves, he can stabilize more easily and not leave with a lot of debt.
