Fundraising for the Nowzad Team!

I'm raising money in aid of the Nowzad charity and every donation will help!

On the 12th September, I will be throwing myself out of a perfectly good plane from 15,000 ft in a very lovely yellow jumpsuit! The cost of my skydive has already been paid for privately so all money raised will go straight to Nowzad!

Pen Farthing is currently out in Kabul, Afghanistan, along with his team and their rescue dogs. They are needing funds to be able to get the team and dogs out of Kabul and into safety.

Pen Farthing was a Royal Marine who was on tour in Afghanistan in 2006. He quickly realised it wasn't only the local people that needed their help. Many stray dogs did as well!

Nowzad reunite military men and women with animals they have adopted whilst serving anywhere in the world and have reunited over 1600 to date!

I think everyone can agree that the images and videos we have seen of Kabul in the last few days have been utterly HEARTBREAKING and any amount of contribution to Nowzad, would make a huge difference.

No amount is too small!

More information about Nowzad charity: We reunite our military with companion animals they have adopted whilst serving anywhere in the world, predominantly Afghanistan. We also improve the welfare of the animals of Afghanistan; including humanely reducing the stray dog population which in turn will reduce the incidents of canine rabies, provide animal welfare education for the Afghan people as well as veterinarian students and develop training programs to improve the lives of working animals, predominantly donkeys.
