Fundraising for Syed Zakir's Family
Donation protected

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you.
This campaign is a plea to raise funds for a family that has been struck by unforeseen circumstances . Syed Javed Zakir at the age of 56, a father of two and a loving husband, suffered from a debilitating stroke on November 8, 2016. Since that day Javed has been in a comatose state.
Javed was working as a mechanical engineer for the Kingdom in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His breathing was supported by a mechanical ventilator for the first 6 months after the stroke. He is now able to breathe on his own without the assistance of a ventilator. His family continued to spend the next year in Saudi Arabia, where he was admitted in a local hospital. Javed and his family had spent most of their lives in Saudi Arabia at this point. A year after the stroke, they were kicked out by the country as the kingdom would no longer provide support or allow the family to stay in Saudi Arabia.
Javed's wife and two children, along with Javed in his comatose state returned to Pakistan after many years. By this time they had lost most of their contacts, they also do not have any close relatives, family or friends in the current neighbourhood they are living in. Javed's wife, Saba continues to take care of her husband and is hopeful that one day he may recover with the help of the Almighty. Simultaneously, Saba is taking care of their children, while trying to pay the household bills.
Javed's monthly cost of medication is a minimum $500.00. The expanse of medications along with rent, food, clothing and their children's schooling is making it increasingly difficult for Saba to sustain the household.
Javed's story was also published in Saudi Gazette news: http://saudigazette.com.sa/article/178826/Good-and-bad-times-of-expat-life
In this blessed month of Ramadan we ask you to extend the Mercy that Allah swt has blessed you with and to donate for this family's basic necessities. We remind ourselves that the sustenance we receive is not only ours to keep but that we may be a means of mercy and benefit for others. Remember that charity does not decrease wealth.
Please donate generously for this family, for Saba and Javed's children's survival. If you find yourself to be completely exhausted of monetary donations, please do remember the family in your prayers, the power of prayer is unfathomable.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we pray that each of you have a blessed month. May God expiate your sins and allow you to be a means of goodness, ease and mercy in the lives of those around you.
