Fundraising for Reese

It takes a village...

Meet Reese, our beautiful 16 year old niece. Life has just delivered her an unexpected challenge, she just received the diagnosis that she has Hodgkin's Lymphoma stage 4. An anticipated summer full of carefree beach days and lazy mornings have quickly been replaced with Dr. appointments, scans, bloodwork, injections, decisions, the list goes on.

Please help us help our niece and her parents, Sandra and Jim. Although many procedures are covered by insurance, many are not. Already out of pocket expenses have been put towards harvesting and preserving Reese's eggs, so that when she beats this cancer, she'll have the option later in life to raise a family...a thought, a decision, no 16 year old girl or her family ever imagined they'd have to make.

This is just the very beginning of her journey, a journey she has embraced with such a positive outlook, she's truly amazing. We are looking to raise money to cover all of the unexpected expenses popping up, co-pays, travel for treatments, continued preservation of her eggs, wigs, loss of time at work, again, the list goes on. Reese's parents have so much to process, to find strength for, worrying about how to come up with the money to provide Reese with what she needs to thrive, should not be an added stress.

So many people have already reached out asking how can they help, how much does she need, where can we send donations?...which is what led us to create this fundraiser in Reese's honor. Thank you to all who have joined this journey, your thoughts, prayers, and intentions really make all the difference, it finds her, it surrounds her.

She remains joyful and hopeful, she is an inspiration.
