Help Philip Back On His Feet
In June of 2020 - Philip had a trampoline accident that led to a T-12 L1 fracture of his spine causing him to be paralysed. Philip has had surgery which resulted in an additional sepsis infection and 3 months in Glasgow’s national spinal unit to undertake intense rehabilitation to try and get him back on his feet.
Unfortunately, Philips injuries have Left him a
predominant wheelchair user and he is having to
discover a whole new normal.
Philip's life has changed so drastically and he
currently relies on friends and family to help him do daily tasks such as washing, cleaning and
preparing basic meals.
we are looking to raise as much money as we can to help him with what he needs to live an independent life, including items such as carbon
wheelchair that would help him get to get about on his own, a mobility car and renovations to his house to make this more user friendly.
Philip is always the first person to help when you are in need, and we are looking to do the same,
and more, for him. Throughout this journey,
Philip has been nothing but positive, defying the doctors predictions and putting everything he
has into his rehabilitation. As well as fighting to regain as much mobility as he could Philips dad also passed away recently making his fight that bit harder.
As a work place, we will be organising
fundraising events on his behalf, however we
would like to raise as much money as possible
for him, so if you wish to donate - it will be
extremely appreciated.
