Fundraising for Peter Czapiga

On February 21, 2024 our son and dearest friend Peter was a victim of a life changing hit and run accident. Peter was walking across the street when he was struck by a 1998 Silverado, who fled the scene and left Peter for dead on the street. Peter had no identification on him and was admitted into John C Lincoln hospital as a John Doe for a week before his mother was located and notified of the incident. Peter suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and was in a coma for nearly two months before coming to. He is making great progress but we still have a very long way to go. Peter will need numerous sessions of occupational therapy, neurological appointments, and several treatments and medications.

His family are asking his friends and loved ones to spread the word in hopes to raise money to mitigate the many hospital costs. 100% of funds raised will go directly to helping Peter and his family afford costs related to hospital stays, occupational therapy, and supporting Peter in getting his physical and mental health back to normal.
