We're trying to raise money for our friend, who is a black trans person. The person has been struggling with immigration difficulties for some time, and is trying to raise money to help with ongoing visa costs for citizenship track, to secure long term stability.

Once they have secured a visa they will be in a position to turn towards the next immediate concern which is to get top surgery. Our friend has already had a consultation with the surgeon who will do the surgery, they are a black surgeon who they feel comfortable with. This fundraiser is in aid of both of their needs as these are simultaneous issues in our friend's life.
