At Cathy Davies Studio & School of Art, we believe creativity should have no limits—especially for

our young artists.

Based in the heart of Cornwall, our Junior Artists are inspired by the incredible natural beauty that

surrounds us. From dramatic coastlines and peaceful woodlands to historic harbours and hidden

countryside gems, Cornwall offers endless inspiration for artistic expression.

Our classes are about so much more than painting and drawing. We encourage children to explore,

experiment, ask questions, and build confidence through creativity. They learn about local artists,

different techniques, and how the beauty of the landscape can be transformed into their own unique

artwork.

To take this learning even further, we are raising funds to purchase a minibus for our art school.

Having our own minibus would allow us to take our Junior Artists out of the classroom and directly

into the landscapes that inspire them. Instead of only learning about Cornwall’s beauty, they would

be able to experience it first-hand—sketching on the beach, painting in gardens, exploring

woodland trails, and visiting inspiring local exhibitions and creative spaces.

For many families, access to transport can be difficult, and we want every child to have the

opportunity to be part of these artistic adventures. A dedicated minibus would make these trips

possible, safe, and accessible for all.

This is more than just transport—it is a vehicle for opportunity, imagination, education, and

confidence.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us get one step closer to giving our young artists the

chance to explore Cornwall, discover inspiration, and grow on their own creative journeys.
