Fundraising for Ollie's 12 mth Rotary exchange trip to Japan

Ollie has been learning Japanese language for the last two years both at school & with a tutor & is top of his class. Through learning the language he has developed a love of Japanese culture & a keen interest in Japanese ceramics.

Ollie soon became interested in student exchange.

We hosted a lovely Japanese student on a short term exchange who spoke very little English & Ollie was her translator.

Since then Ollie has been working toward his dream of going to Japan.

He was interviewed by his local Rotary club and then by the greater district.

He was selected for the only position for Japan being offered by his District .

It's a huge achievement & Ollie is so excited to go to Japan for 12 months in January as a local ambassador and to extend his language & himself with this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Ollie is fundraising for this trip.

The amount we are fundraising for is half of the cost of the exchange that we are hoping to gain support with. Any donation or offer of support to Ollie's dream is a huge help and so appreciated and warmly received. Thank you.
