Fundraising for Neil Campbell in his fight against MND!

Hi, my name is Allan, and I am fund raising for my lifelong best friend, Neil.

In April 2023, Neil was given the devastating news of a life altering diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease (MND), at the age of 45.

MND is a rapidly progressing muscle disease that sadly has no effective treatment or cure. While Neil has bravely fought against this illness for the past two years, sadly things have progressed meaning that Neil now requires additional care and support.

To support Neil, and his family, I have committed to running the Rob Burrows MND Leeds Marathon on the 11th of May 2025 to raise funds to support Neil’s ongoing care and quality of life.

For those of you that know me will remember that when I done my ‘one and only’ marathon 10 years ago, I said never again but this very special cause has given me the motivation to attempt to repeat this feat.
